How many stores have you seen with a broken sign? You know, lights that don't work, letters out or missing, paint peeling? If you see them, they are in trouble. This is Bob's first sign of distress, the signal of disinterest and an absent or absent minded or broke owner. If you are in the business now, go outside and look carefully at your signs. Make sure they work, are clean and inviting and say something important about your coffee business. We all have heard the saying: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" (I don't agree with this saying because it implies the unheard of "don't change anything", which will kill you fast), well the other side of this coin is - "If it is broke fix it." If you don't have the money to fix it yourself, then you may want to really go to the well and come up with more water and more fertilizer. Fast. |
