Many people open in their home towns. You may want to saturate your town with more than one site. Mall, downtown, college, hospital. How far will you commute? Will you travel around the country? If so you may do the best by opening in many high income communities. If you will travel, and can organize work and people, you can cherry pick (a term meaning take the best) sites in college towns, places like Palm Beach and other high income towns.
